Introduction

French International School of Dhaka, also known as EFID, is located at Plot 13, Embassy Road, Baridhara, Dhaka. The school is approved by AEFE and offers a French education pathway from age 2 through secondary school. EFID follows the French Ministry curriculum from early years to Sixième, followed by CNED-supported study up to Terminale. French is the main language of learning, while the British International Section supports English development. Spanish is introduced from 5ème as a second foreign language. The school day starts at 8:30 AM, with primary classes ending at 3:00 PM and secondary classes at 4:00 PM. EFID offers extracurricular activities after school and does not require a uniform. A distinctive feature is its EFE3D sustainability label, awarded by AEFE for the school’s environmental and sustainable development work.
