Wellbeing

Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

Safeguarding and wellbeing are central to the school's approach. The safeguarding framework includes clear child-protection policies, designated safeguarding leads, and protocols for alerting and coordinating with authorities. Prevention is a core focus; staff are regularly trained to recognise signs of vulnerability, malaise, or violence, and to foster an environment where students feel safe to share concerns, with emphasis on respect, diversity, inclusion and responsible behavior. Age-appropriate workshops and programs help students understand their rights, know how to seek help, recognise inappropriate conduct, and practise safe digital behaviours. Safeguarding is a shared responsibility involving families, teachers, and staff across the community, ensuring physical, emotional, and psychological safety for all students.

English as an Additional Language (EAL)

The school operates a bilingual French–English program, with half of the instruction in English (50% English) and immersion classes in elementary. English language learning begins early, with students starting English from age 3.

Mental Wellbeing

The safeguarding framework prioritises the mental wellbeing of students, promoting a climate of listening and safety that supports emotional and psychological security for every learner.

Safeguarding

Safeguarding is a top priority, with rigorous procedures, designated safeguarding leads, clear child-protection policies, and coordination with authorities. The program emphasises prevention, ongoing staff training, and engagement of families and partners to maintain a vigilant, safe school community.
