Introduction

Antigua International School (AIS) is an international school in Ciudad Viejo, Guatemala, delivering a bilingual, internationally accredited education for ages 1–17. Admissions

1. Contact the AIS Admissions Office before applying to confirm space availability. 2. Have the following documents on hand: a recent digital photo; birth certificate; parents' DPI/passport; vaccination record; most recent report card and the last two completed grade levels; solvency letter from the current school. 3. The Application Fee is Q400 – $50. 4. After submitting the application and required documents, the Admissions Office will schedule your child's admission assessment. 5. All applications are reviewed by the Admissions Committee, which considers academic records, confidential recommendations, and admission assessments. 6. Grade level placement is based on age and prior academic history; if transferring from schools with a different academic calendar, enroll in the same grade if enrolling in August; otherwise complete a transition period in the grade just completed (if enrolling in November–February). 7. Guatemalan families should select the AIS Guatemalan Program, while international families should select the AIS International Program.
