Middle School (Years 7–9) offers the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP), with English and Italian studied and an additional language available (French or Spanish). Approximately 5:1, based on about 1,000 students and 200 teachers across ICS Milan's campuses.
IGCSE examinations are taken in Years 10-11 and the Diploma Programme (DP) is offered in Years 12-13. IGCSEs are academically rigorous and include compulsory exams. Across Globeducate schools, many ICS Milan students achieve grades within the top 10% globally.
The school provides university preparation through a dedicated counselling team, guidance for university applications, and resources such as Unifrog to compare courses and manage applications. Students are supported to attend university fairs, visit universities, and receive materials in the library; the Diploma Programme explicitly prepares students for university and beyond, helping them choose universities and complete applications.
ICS Milan places social and emotional wellbeing at the center of its approach from the earliest years through to secondary. Kindergarten emphasises social and emotional wellbeing and partners with families so every child feels safe, supported and understood. The Primary School is committed to nurturing wellbeing, giving pupils a voice and agency. The Nursery is designed to support wellbeing and emotional development, with staff tailoring experiences to promote wellbeing and build confidence. A pastoral programme supports all students across Globeducate schools to foster emotional wellbeing and resilience.
ICS Milan is a mainstream, inclusive school with an inclusion policy that provides opportunities for students of differing abilities. The Inclusion Policy describes learning support for mild to moderate needs and the use of Individualised Educational Plans (IEP/PEI) created by GLI. The school provides English as an Additional Language (EAL) provision across Primary and MYP with a dedicated team and personalised programmes. EAL provision includes entrance assessment and ongoing tracking to adjust provision, and withdrawal classes are available as appropriate to help students access the curriculum. The school aims to provide every student with the best chance to reach their potential through differentiated support.
English is the predominant language of learning. In Early Years, 100% of the curriculum is delivered in English; in Primary and MYP, around 80% of the curriculum is delivered in English to non-native speakers (about 20% is delivered in Italian as part of the Paritaria status). A specialised team of EAL teachers delivers personalised programmes and EAL is taught across Primary and MYP. Entrance assessments determine language needs at entry, and ongoing tracking uses formal assessment frameworks to adjust provision. The aim is to enable all EAL students to access mainstream subjects and participate fully in the curriculum.
ICS Milan emphasises emotional wellbeing as part of its holistic education. The Head of School describes a supportive community that nurtures emotional wellbeing and character across three campuses. Kindergarten places a strong focus on social and emotional wellbeing and partnership with families to ensure safety, support and understanding. The Nursery and Primary environments embed wellbeing through relationships and routines, with pastoral programmes in place to support all students.
ICS Milan is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Safeguarding is the responsibility of everyone in the organisation, with mandatory safeguarding training and designated safeguarding leads. The policies cover safeguarding and child protection, online safety, safer recruitment, and early help procedures. The curriculum includes Personal, Social, Health and Citizenship Education to promote safety and wellbeing.

If withdrawal is communicated before the second day, ICS commits to refund 70% of the amount paid and will retain 30% to cover organizational costs.
4.6 Total or partial non-attendance, for illness or any other reason, does not exempt from payment of the total participation fee.
