Clavis International Primary School is a non-profit, English-medium international primary in Mauritius serving ages 3 to 12. It offers the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) at two campuses, Moka and Beau Champ. The school began offering the PYP in 1998 and achieved full IB authorisation in 2002, becoming the first in the region to offer the programme. The PYP is inquiry-based and transdisciplinary, with a written, taught, and assessed curriculum that follows the Making the PYP Happen framework. Class sizes are small: Pre-Reception around 15, Reception around 18, Year 1 around 22, with homeroom teachers supported by teaching assistants. The school emphasises inclusion, with an inclusion team member from Moka guiding support at Beau Champ and ongoing resource expansion. Facilities include a library corner and a music room at Beau Champ, plus an outdoor playground shared across campuses. After-school activities include Rhythmic Adventure, Science Club, Trash to Treasure at Beau Champ, and art, drama, music, science, and engineering at Moka.
