Bangladesh School Sohar is a coeducational K–12 campus in Sohar, Oman, established in 2008 by Bangladeshi expatriates to serve the Bangladeshi community and beyond. The school follows a Pearson Edexcel IGCSE framework for senior levels and publishes grade level syllabi for 2025–26, with Grade V delivering a Bengali–English curriculum and Grade VIII offering Arabic, Bangla, Biology, Chemistry, English, ICT, Mathematics and Physics. IGCSE and IAL examinations are available, and senior subjects draw on Cambridge IGCSE/IAL materials. The school celebrated its 17th anniversary in 2025, serving 400+ students. Facilities include spacious classrooms, physics, chemistry and biology laboratories, modern computer labs, dedicated arts and music spaces, and a nutritious cafeteria. Sports facilities cover indoor and outdoor activities such as football and basketball. A broad extracurricular program includes Debates and Public Speaking, Science and Technology Projects, and Music and Performing Arts, reflecting a commitment to both academics and creative development for all students.
