American Institute Allied With Thornton Academy (AITA) is an independent day and boarding school for grades 9–12 in Novi Sad, Serbia. It operates in partnership with Thornton Academy, founded 2022. The school offers an American Advanced Placement curriculum alongside the Serbian National Curriculum officially approved by the Provincial Secretariat for Education, making it first AP Center in Serbia. Students tailor their studies across more than 50 courses in seven departments, with the option to take up to eight classes annually. The Dual Diploma Program provides both a U.S. High School Diploma and a Serbian diploma. The Career and College Center guides college applications and scholarships, while university partnerships support direct admission to programs in the US and Europe. Facilities include basketball venues with training tools, video analysis, and a nutrition team, plus a range of language, STEM, arts and social studies offerings. Signature programs include internships, volunteering, and Sustainable Development.
Annual tuition at American Institute Allied With Thornton Academy ranges from RSD 16,600 to RSD 19,500 for 2026/27.
