International School of Madrid (ISM) is a British international school founded in 1971, located in the Chamartín district of Madrid. It educates over 800 pupils aged 2–18, from early years to Sixth Form. ISM follows the English National Curriculum, with EYFS, Key Stage 3–4, IGCSE at the end of Year 11 and British A Levels in Sixth Form. Admissions
1. Get in touch. Enrolment for the 2026–27 academic year begins now. The relevant Admissions director will take you on a tour of our facilities and introduce you to the head teachers and coordinators. If you can't visit in person, we will arrange a virtual tour.

3. Entrance Tests. Entrance tests may be required from Year 7 to Year 13 and a child's latest report from their current school is required. Children applying for Early Years Foundation Stage do not need prior knowledge of English to access the curriculum at the appropriate level.
4. Enrol. On receipt of the application form, successful entrance tests and a deposit, a place for the appropriate academic year is confirmed and you are welcomed into the ISM family. Admissions are open throughout the year.
