Application / registration fees
- EUR 1,000 — one-time, non-refundable registration fee for entry to the school (Schule).
- EUR 800 — one-time, non-refundable registration fee for entry to the kindergarten (Grădiniță).
Tuition fees — School (day school, by year group)
- Day programme (school day until 15:00):
- EUR 13,500 per year — Grundschule (primary).
- EUR 13,800 per year — Sekundarstufe I (grades 5–9).
- EUR 14,200 per year — Sekundarstufe II (grades 10–12).
- The annual school contribution is collected in three trimesters. The school defines the trimesters as: Trimester 1 = 4 months (due by 15 Aug), Trimester 2 = 4 months (due by 15 Dec), Trimester 3 = 2 months (due by 15 Apr). Term instalments below are the annual contribution allocated to each trimester following the school's stated trimester lengths (4/4/2 months).
- Grundschule (EUR 13,500): Trimester 1 = EUR 5,400; Trimester 2 = EUR 5,400; Trimester 3 = EUR 2,700.
- Sekundarstufe I (EUR 13,800): Trimester 1 = EUR 5,520; Trimester 2 = EUR 5,520; Trimester 3 = EUR 2,760.
- Sekundarstufe II (EUR 14,200): Trimester 1 = EUR 5,680; Trimester 2 = EUR 5,680; Trimester 3 = EUR 2,840.
- Extended day programme (school day until 18:00):
- EUR 16,000 per year — Grundschule (primary) and Sekundarstufe I (both listed at EUR 16,000 per year where available). Trimester instalments follow the 4/4/2 month split: Trimester 1 = EUR 6,400; Trimester 2 = EUR 6,400; Trimester 3 = EUR 3,200. Sekundarstufe II is not listed for the 18:00 option.
Tuition fees — Kindergarten (detailed per trimester and annual total)
Fees are published per trimester and as an annual total for each daily schedule option. The published trimester values and annual totals are:
- Program end at 12:30:
- Trimester I = EUR 2,840; Trimester II = EUR 2,840; Trimester III = EUR 1,420; Annual total = EUR 7,100.
- Program end at 15:00:
- Trimester I = EUR 3,400; Trimester II = EUR 3,400; Trimester III = EUR 1,700; Annual total = EUR 8,500.
- Program end at 16:30:
- Trimester I = EUR 3,800; Trimester II = EUR 3,800; Trimester III = EUR 1,900; Annual total = EUR 9,500.
- Program end at 18:00:
- Trimester I = EUR 3,960; Trimester II = EUR 3,960; Trimester III = EUR 1,980; Annual total = EUR 9,900.
Billing schedule and payment terms
- Annual contributions for school programmes are billed and payable in three trimesters: Trimester 1 (4 months) due by 15 August; Trimester 2 (4 months) due by 15 December; Trimester 3 (2 months) due by 15 April. For kindergarten the published trimester amounts reflect this split; for the school programmes the trimester instalments above are the annual contribution apportioned to the same 4/4/2-month pattern. Book fees are charged in the first trimester or together with the annual contribution.
Boarding fees
- Boarding is not offered; DSBU publishes fees for day kindergarten and day-school programmes only. There are no boarding fees listed.
Other costs and recurring charges
- Meals: The school includes three daily meals in the contribution, but two published language versions of the fee leaflet show different current meal cost figures: one language leaflet lists EUR 1,500 and the other lists EUR 1,200 as the current meal amount; meals are stated as included in the contribution. The two figures are taken from the school's published leaflets.
- Book and materials fee (Büchergeld):
- EUR 220 per year — Grundschule (primary).
- EUR 350 per year — Gymnasium (secondary).
- The book fee is charged in the first trimester or with the annual contribution.
- Excursions and day trips: Day excursions and most internal/external activities during the school year are included in the contributions; exceptions that carry additional costs require parental confirmation. Class trips (multi-day trips) are not included in the annual contribution and are billed separately.
- Transport: School transport is provided by an external bus company; transport cost depends on the pupil's place of residence and is billed separately.
- Sibling discount: A discount is applied for families with multiple children enrolled: from the second child both children receive a 5% reduction; each additional sibling receives a 10% reduction on the lowest applicable contribution.
Refund information
- The registration fee (school) is explicitly non-refundable. No detailed, published tuition-refund schedule or specific refund rules for pro‑rata refunds on departure are included in the published contribution leaflets.
Fee payment options (methods)
- The published contribution leaflets and the school's public admissions information do not specify payment methods (for example: bank transfer, credit card, direct debit) in the documents available with the fees information.
